Website usage statistics and saved teams

On teleball.tv, saved teams stay in your browser. Saving a team and downloading a calendar event work without allowing usage statistics.

Optional website usage statistics are off until you choose to allow them. If enabled, a random identifier for this browser connects team-guide visits, successful follow changes, app-store clicks, calendar-export clicks and later visits. The server stores a hash of that identifier with the team, broadcast country, action and local calendar day in our Upstash Redis service. These records are pseudonymous, not anonymous. These statistics do not store your IP address, search text, full browsing URL or complete favourites list.

These guide-statistics records expire after 90 days, and their browser identifier is renewed after 90 days. You can change your choice under “Usage statistics” on any team guide. Turning statistics off stops new collection and removes the local identifier; existing server records expire under the same retention period. Clearing browser storage also removes your saved teams and statistics preference. Reports describe opting-in browsers, not all visitors or people across devices.

Open website usage-statistics preferences

Calendar files are generated when you request them; Teleball does not receive access to your calendar. App-store clicks do not establish that an app was installed, and calendar exports do not establish that a reminder was enabled or delivered.

Optional Google Analytics

When configured, teleball.tv and the Android and iOS apps use Google Analytics for optional usage measurement. Collection is off until you allow usage analytics. Google uses pseudonymous browser or app-instance identifiers to measure active and returning users, pages or screens, and features such as successful favorite saves, searches and match-detail opens. Search text, complete favorite-team lists, notification content and a shared account identifier are not sent in our analytics events. Website page addresses omit query strings and fragments.

Website and app activity appear in the same reporting property, but Teleball does not link a person across devices. Website guide statistics stored in Redis are separate from Google Analytics and have the 90-day limit described above; Google Analytics uses its own retention and reporting settings. Analytics consent does not grant consent to advertising personalization.

You can change Usage statistics on the website or Usage analytics in either app. Turning collection off stops new usage measurement; the app resets its local analytics identity and the website clears its owned analytics cookies. This does not delete data already processed by Google. Blocking scripts or declining analytics does not prevent using favorites, match details or calendar links.

Mobile application

This privacy policy applies to the Teleball app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Daniel Horowitz Berman (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Third Party Access

Optional usage analytics sends pseudonymous events to Google; these are not anonymous or aggregate-only transmissions. Separate operational diagnostics use Sentry. Advertising services have their own collection behavior and controls.

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Sentry

Opt-Out Rights

You can turn optional usage analytics off using Usage analytics in the Application. Uninstalling removes the Application from your device.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data, please contact them at teleballapp@gmail.com.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
